Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar to Dance in New Movie ‘Fugly’

Yo Yo Honey Singh has become one of the most popular artists in the Bollywood industry that actors love to partner up with for song collaborations. After teaming up with Shahrukh Khan in “Chennai Express” to feature in the hit song “Lungi Dance,” the “Dope Shope” singer is now working with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar for an upcoming dance number.
The two actors will be working on a dance sequence to Honey Singh’s song in the film “Fugly” along with four newcomers in the video.
According to Times of India, Kumar and Khan agreed to do the dance to the song because of their strong friendship with Ashvini Yardi who is co-producer of the film.
Kumar and Khan have previously danced together in other numbers such as “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi” and “Tees Maar Khan” and are ready to make their third hit.
We previously reported that Khan and Singh were collaborating for an upcoming movie.
“Honey and Salman recently met at a celebrity cricket tournament. But it was not just a meet-and-greet session for the duo,” said a source. “They kept chatting for nearly half-an-hour and were discussing work. Honey is most probably going to collaborate with Salman to compose a song for one of his upcoming films.”
While the two met, the actor reportedly appeared to have been very interested in the conversation as he didn’t give much time to talk to others.
“While many people were approaching Salman for a quick chat, he was busy discussing Honey’s work,” added the source.
“Yes it’s true that they met,” confirmed Singh’s manger. “They were discussing about composing songs for an upcoming film. But I can’t reveal much.”
Could "Fugly" be the movie Khan and Singh were talking about for the new song?
Aside from SRK, Singh has also made compositions for Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in “Cocktail” and Akshay Kumar’s “Khiladi 786.” He also previously teamed up with Gulzar to rap in his song, “Horn Ok Please” from “Dedh Ishquiya.” The song is a collaboration between Vishal Bhardwaj, Gulzar, Sukhwinder Singh and Honey Singh, whose inclusion makes the number give it that special spice.
Singh recently partnered with Sunny Leone and composed “Chaar Bottle Vodka” which will feature in the 3D horror-thriller film “Ragini MMS 2,” directed by Bhushan Patel and produced by Ekta Kapoor.
Singh also performed with King Khan during the Temptation Reloaded tour in Australia and New Zealand, however, he was replaced by Arijit Singh for the concert in Malaysia because of lack of dates.
